Update on tickets for the 2021 CWS

​The following updates are subject to change due to the uncertainty of COVID-19.  We have been notified this week by our local Omaha contacts (They work closely with the NCAA & the CWS.) have indicated that there will be significant changes to the World Series ticketing process.  It is not limited to but includes the sale of electronic tickets only. 
 
THE GOOD NEWS:

1. The College Baseball World Series (CWS) is currently planning to be in town during the Triple Crown SlumpBuster in June. 
2. As of February, Nebraska has removed many COVID-19 restrictions and is operating within the GREEN STATUS. (SUBJECT TO CHANGE)
3. Downtown activities outside of the stadium, such as the BASEBALL VILLAGE (beer garden, LIVE music, DJ’s and vendors) will be present, with possible attendance limitations.

 
THE CHALLENGING NEWS:

1. At this time, reserved seating tickets will be made available to season ticket holders.  It’s not known if individual reserved tickets will be made available or sold to the general public. 
2. There will likely NOT be General Admission (GA) Tickets sold to the public.  GA stadium seating may be needed to socially distance season ticket holders.
3. The CWS Opening Ceremonies on Friday, June 18th will look different or unavailable due to fan restrictions/limitations that will be in place for COVID-19 safety protocols.
4. The NCAA has NOT announced publicly what the fan capacity limits inside the stadium will be.

 
What this means for ALL teams in the SlumpBuster:

1. CWS tickets will be extremely difficult to obtain. 
2. There is a high likelihood that your team will NOT be able to see a game inside the stadium while in town. 

 
Your entry fee included 20 GA Tickets at a cost of $190.00 (EXCLUDES LOCAL TEAMS).  This cost can be refunded, used towards merchandise or the skills contests (Session #1 OR Session #3).
